Session 102: Duel of the Fates

  • Sports Basement 2727 Milvia Street Berkeley, CA, 94703 United States (map)

Come make some great music with us at Berkeley Sports Basement as we partner with Kaiser Permanente's Wellness Program once again to celebrate our healthcare workers!

Help us bring to life Eric Whitacre's beautiful and reflective piece October, Smetana's classic tone poem Die Moldau, and John Williams's epically rousing suite from Star Wars The Phantom Menace for chorus and orchestra!

Join us and let off some stress the weekend before the election with our own musical “Duel of the Fates”.

Musician sign-ups begin Tuesday, October 15 at 12pm! Be ready to check your inboxes or visit the website as some sections fill up within minutes!

FOR PLAYERS & SINGERS

*This event is all ages*

Some sections will fill up in the first few minutes. For this session, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente's Wellness Program, please be aware that sign-up priority will be given to employees of Kaiser.

We have space for: 10 flutes, 6 oboes, 10 clarinets, 6 bassoons, 10 horns, 8 trumpets, 9 trombones, 3 tubas, 8 percussion, 1 harp, 1 keyboard, 24 chorus, 24 violins, 10 violas, 10 cellos, 5 double basses.

Waitlist Protocol:
Our community of musicians is growing (which is AWESOME), but sometimes that means that some sections fill up quickly (especially flutes and clarinets). You can still sign-up via the form, but if you notice on the form that your instrument has a “waitlist” tag on it, don’t despair! We usually take players off the waitlist as some folks’ plans change. When that happens, you’ll be notified by your Section Ambassadors.
