We're excited to be back at Drake's Dealership for another First Friday extravaganza! For Open Session 53 we’ll be collaborating with the local funk duo Heat Vision & Jack, with Geneva Harrison on drums and Josh Pollock on vocals and guitar. With a few super funky arrangements from TV and other media, this will be a super fun session. Join us!

TRANSPORTATION SUGGESTIONS: It's a safe two block walk from 19th St. Oakland BART, and it'll be First Friday, so street parking will be very difficult. We strongly suggest public transit, biking, ride-sharing, as possible. Double bassists and other large instruments can unload and re-park elsewhere where possible.
Are you thinking about what you want to be when you grow up? So is Awesöme Orchestra! Take our 2017 mini-survey to help us decide. We'd love to hear from you!
