Session 97: Friday Night @ OMCA!

  • Oakland Museum of California 1000 Oak Street Oakland, CA, 94607 United States (map)

Join us for Session 97 on Friday, May 17 at the Oakland Museum of California for an exciting 2 hour session from 6-8pm in their beautiful gardens!

At this session we're excited to have a TOP SECRET special guest join us as a soloist—they are a widely celebrated singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who, for contractual reasons, we can’t name until we’re live at the session 😉 Because of this, we won’t be able to share the sheet music until AFTER musicians sign up and sign NDAs.

We’ll also be kicking Session 97 off with music from local artist (and frequent Awesöme Orchestra collaborator) ONIKHO.

MUSICIANS

* This event is open to all ages*

Waitlist Protocol

Our community of musicians is growing (which is AWESOME), but sometimes that means that some sections fill up quickly (especially flutes and clarinets). You can still sign-up via the form, but if you notice on the form that your instrument has a “this section is now FULL but you can still sign up to be on the waitlist” tag on it, don’t despair! We usually take players off the waitlist as some folks’ plans change. When that happens, you’ll be notified by your Section Ambassadors via email.

AUDIENCE

You DO NOT need to RSVP for this event - it’s free and open to the public of all ages. But If you’d like to get an event reminder email with audience specific info a few days before the event, you can sign up here!

Audience members should plan on bringing picnic blankets and/or camping chairs. There will be plenty of room for everyone!
