UnderCover Presents is working with over 100 artists from 13 Bay Area ensembles to pay homage to The Beatles’ 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' - one of the most iconic albums in the history of recordings. Music Directing and co-curating this lineup is Joe Bagale - multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer. Each of the 13 ensembles is from a different genre (ranging between Hip Hop to Orchestral) and is arranging one (1) song from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Every group is highly encouraged to put their own sound and personality into their rendition. The result is a showcase of thirteen (13) ensembles performing the album in its entirety live at The UC Theatre in Berkeley on June 2-3, 2017 - exactly 50 years after the original album’s debut.
