Session 108: Thrive City with La Doña

  • Thrive City 1725 3rd Street San Francisco, CA, 94158 United States (map)

In partnership with Thrive City

Join us as we light up Thrive City! Awesöme Orchestra makes their debut in front of the Chase Center on Friday night August 1 in San Francisco at this all-ages free event. After kicking off the session with John Tesh's iconic and appropriate "Roundball Rock", we'll be joined by Arizona-based rock band Mario Why, on a special stop in their West Coast tour showcasing their beautiful new EP Their Hearts Were Full of Spring, with new lush arrangements for full orchestra. For the last hour we'll invite back the Bay Area's own La Doña, as we premiere live arrangements of two songs that we recorded for her 2024 studio album Los Altos de la Soledad. As usual, it promises to be a musical adventure for all!

Musician sign-ups begin Tuesday, July 22nd @ 12pm
