Join Awesöme Orchestra at the Paramount Theatre, Oakland on Saturday, January 18, 2025 for a night of pure magic. 

We're bringing the artistry of Aretha Franklin to life in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for Oakland’s biggest MLK Weekend event presented by Living Jazz and SFJAZZ. We’re honored to participate in five pieces in the program for this amazing Tribute.

The stacked lineup includes Kev Choice, Chika Di, Destiny Muhammad, Living Jazz Children’s Project Choir, Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir Ensemble, RyanNicole, and Howard Wiley and band, with full orchestral arrangements, dance performances, SFJAZZ High School All-Stars, and Oaktown Jazz Workshops, plus more great musicians and surprises.
