SHEET MUSIC for upcoming open sessions can always be found on Google Drive at: bit.ly/AOCOpenSession
(Please that the rental parts for the Michael Torke are en route, and will be made available as soon after they arrive. Check back August 2 and thank you for your patience.)
Reference recordings can be found for all pieces on YouTube or the Facebook event and the google drive.
Please bring a music stand, battery-powered stand light since the lighting can get low by the end of the session! We'll have chairs, sheet music, water for the musicians! (We unfortunately can't have beer at this venue either due to permitting, but we'll have a post-session hang at Mad Oak Bar around the corner at 125 12th St. Oakland.)
The sign-up deadline for all sections is Sunday, July 29. Once that has passed, expect an email from your Awesöme Ambassadors with specific info and part assignments within the week (check your spam filters if this is your first session). Email your ambassadors if you haven't heard back by August 4. (Please be patient—they have a lot of information to collect before emailing everyone.) Their information can be found at www.awesomeorchestra.org/ambassadors.
